![]() ![]() ![]() It won't bother me that DD 12 will no longer work. Instead, what I desperately need is a list of all the locations in the registry related to DD 12 so that I can open the main system's registry hives and delete the data at those locations. Obviously, I cannot run any Acronis cleanup tools, since the system won't boot. Installation of Acronis Disk Director requires entering 8 sets of 8 characters separated by dashes - bit of a pain. It does recognize USB jump drives when they're inserted. It does not recognize either of the floppy drives even when there is a floppy in them. And unfortunately, my Windows 7 backup is too old to allow that to be used instead. Acronis Disk Director recognizes the PC's internal and external hard drives. I'd try to perform a Repair Install, but you cannot do that if you cannot boot into Windows 7 normally, so that won't work either. System Repair doesn't work for this problem. The failure error message I get always complains that the driver fltsrv.sys, an Upper Filter installed by DD 12, is corrupt or missing. All of a sudden, I cannot boot my primary Windows 7 system, either normally or in Safe Mode. I have DD 12 Home installed on one of my multi-Windows computer (i.e., I have both a primary and backup version of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit -and- both a primary and backup version of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed). ![]()
